About The Leash’s Studio

The Leash’s Studio is a colourful, playful dog photography studio in Paralowie, Adelaide. We capture your dog just as they are, with all their personality and silly moments, against bright backdrops with playful props and vivid edits that pop.

Dogs are our speciality, and we also photograph cats and other pets. Every session takes place in our studio, a calm, comfortable space with consistent lighting and none of the distractions of the outdoors.

Here's how it works:

  1. Enquire. Send us an enquiry through ourbooking page

  2. We’ll reply within 24 hours to confirm details and find a time that suits you. Tell us about your dog’s personality and anything that helps them feel comfortable.

  3. Studio session. Bring your dog, their favourite treats and any toys that get them excited. We work at your dog’s pace, using toys, treats and sounds to capture their attention, while keeping their safety and comfort first.

  4. Viewing appointment. Within two weeks of your session, we’ll walk you through your images and you’ll choose your favourites.

  5. Your images and prints. We deliver your chosen images in digital format, ready to share and print. We also offer framed fine art prints, which can be ordered separately.

Policy

  1. Appointments: All sessions must be booked in advance. Walk-ins are not available.

  2. Arriving on time: Please arrive on time to make the most of your session. Late arrivals may reduce your session time.

  3. Safety first: The safety and wellbeing of every dog is our priority. Owners are responsible for their dog’s behaviour and must keep control of them at all times.

  4. Nervous or excitable dogs: Shy, nervous and wiggly dogs are very welcome. For safety, we can’t photograph dogs that are aggressive towards people or other animals. Please tell us about any special needs or concerns when you book so we can plan ahead.

  5. Grooming: Please bring your dog clean and well groomed. We may need to reschedule if your dog is very dirty or unkempt.

  6. Liability: Owners are fully responsible for any damage caused by their pet and agree to indemnify The Leash’s Studio for any damages.

  7. Deposit and payment: A $40 deposit secures your booking, and the rest of the payment is due at the time of the session. We accept cash, credit and debit cards, and online payment.

  8. Cancellations: We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Without enough notice, a fee may apply.

  9. Print orders: Orders must be placed within two weeks of receiving your images.

  10. Copyright: The Leash’s Studio retains the copyright to all images and may use them for promotional purposes.

  11. By booking a session with The Leash’s Studio, you agree to these terms and conditions.
